Come and see the corral in which the guinea fowl, ducks and turkeys graze between sheep and goats. Observe with your children the comical behaviour of pigeons. And beware of the “stray” ostrich! Goats are represented by two different breeds – the smooth white goat, which came about by crossing peasant goats from Switzerland and Germany, andthe Boer goat, which was bred in South Africa. The white goats have short hair and are usually hornless. They don´t have any special requirement for farming and have high fertility. Boer goats have a hardy constitution, both sexes have horns and upright ears. Their coat is short, they have a reddish bald head, ears and neck are usually brown with white coloration of the body. They live for around eight years. Geese have been kept for several centuries, resulting from the domestication of wild geese.

Our muscovy ducks are white and “ruánské“. Muscovy duck, also known as the Chinese duck is related to our mallard and come from muscovy ducks which live in tropical areas of Central and South America. The Ruánská duck breed is from north-western France, bred from regional ducks. Blue guinea fowl originate in Africa. They are very wary and are characterized by rapid responses to external stimuli. They cackle loudly and usually stay together as a group, flying mostly low to the ground and they rarely cross the fence or enclosure.

Ostrich is the largest bird in the world. It comes from eastern and southern Africa, where it inhabits savannas, deserts and semi-deserts. On each footit has two fingers and thanks to its powerful legs can reach speeds up to 70 km / h. It lives to 40 to 70 years of age and matures in about two years. It has very good eyesight and hearing. It is an omnivore.

The turkey is native to Central and South America. The male has a bald, pale blue head and a long beak hanging over the red growth on his forehead. The female is less obvious and never puts the tail into a fan. In their natural habitat, they live in the forest. They do not create social groups, their only contact with the opposite sex is duringmating.

We currently have 40 sheep on grazing land. Represented are breeds as Valaška, Suffolk, Charollais, Texel sheep and Romanovská. Valaška is one of the most popular sheep for its appearance andthe breed was established in the 14th century, having a smaller stature andrough wool. Suffolk sheephave a black head and a semi-fine short , curly wool and are popular in England. Texel is considered ahighly manageable breed, which is adaptable to all sports of lasndscape. Charollais sheep are originally from France and have short curly wool. Romanovská sheep were bred in Russia and belong to a group short-tail breeds. It has a black head with a distinctive white blaze. The rams have a mane on the neck.
