The equipment in this workshop comes from the beginning of the last century. The oldest discovery of jewelery stones and their processing in our country comes from around 2nd to 4th century BC. Sapphires from the Jizera mountains are famous for their quality. The world’s most famous jewelery stone is moldavite and Bohemian garnet. In the Craft Centre are polished and processed stones from Czech places in Jizera and “Krušné“ mountains: agate, jasper and other precious stone varieties of quartz.
