Distillation

The principe of distillation we will explain in our distillation furnace. This furnace is both functional as well as being used for demonstrations. Essential oil is obtained from the part of plant by a steam distillation. Essential oil is then used in food industry, cosmetics and medicine. The amount of herbs needed for production of one litre of essential oil is huge - for example, 200 kg of fresh mint or 3 tonnes of roses.
